I've been eating here for years, and the prices haven't changed much. It's been a while since my last visit. Recently, I noticed they introduced udon, and you can even swap rice for udon. Of course, I had to give it a try! Though it didn't taste exactly as I imagined, it was still OK.

I truly had not heard of this restaurant until I met my SO. He raves about this place and had eaten it a lot in his hometown in LA. He was craving it after we discovered some coupons so we went on a weekday night. The restaurant was quite clean and I was shocked to realize there was no music playing. It was a pleasant surprise as we could hear every little sound very well and we were the only ones eating our gyudon. In a world full of noise, it is truly nice to be in a serene environment where you can truly be present and in the moment. The portions here are great for a good price~ I would certainly stop by here when I'm in the area and in need of a quick bite.

Yoshinoya is my go to when I want something quick, tasty, and something cheap to eat. I always get the spring egg rolls and they would always be tasty and hot. I usually get the large combo bowl with the original beef and salmon. I used to get the shrimp but they took it off the menu :( I hope they bring it back! It was my favorite. Ive had it delivered to me or I come there to sit down and eat with my bf. Never really had a bad experience!

3.5 rounded up. I've never had Yoshinoya before, but am a big fan of Gyudon. I've also driven past this establishment for so many years (I can't be the only one!) despite it being the only Yoshinoya location in the entire SF Bay Area. At an attempt to try new things, I stopped by for my first time and was pleasantly surprised at the value and taste. They definitely use a nice thin cut of beef that resembles gyudon, though some pieces can be more on the stringy side. They also have fried chicken (Tokyo chicken is what I think they call it) for $3.50 but had over 6 pieces, a really great deal! Dining in can be tough because it's really hot and no AC. Download their app for really great deals and rewards. Edit: One more thing, their milk tea boba is terrible. Like it's not even worth it if they give you one for free (which they do in the app). Save yourself from that experience and just grab milk tea boba from somewhere else in Cupertino, there are a lot better places!

I've been eating at Yoshinoya since 1980 and I still crave the beef bowl to this day. The beef is thinly sliced, tons of flavor with Japanese style rice. I got even better, there's a new Tokyo fried chicken, which is chicken karaage. It's very good! I have karaage at many authentic Japanese restaurants, and no kidding, Yoshinoya's version is delicious! I was impressed. The gyoza was average and spring rolls just ok. Order from the app and get promo and specials. You earn points for free stuff. Ask for free extra beef sauce if you like extra juiciness.

My cousin and niece were in town and staying in Cupertino for the weekends went out there to spend the weekend with them. While staying there one evening, we were wanting some yoshinoya since in the area. It's been years. And we were really hungry. Got to the spot to order. Service was okay. Not very personable tho. We ordered a large original beef bowl and Tokyo fried chicken. Got our order pretty quick. Got back to our hotel and couldn't wait to eat. Beef bowl is delicious as always. I almost forgot it was a favorite of mine. Not sure if the chicken was suppose to look like they did. They looked and tasted a bit burnt. But we were so hungry, we enjoyed what we had. Too bad this is the only location. Wish there was at least one closer to my area so I can fulfill my yoshinoya cravings.

Randomly had a craving for Yoshinoya after not having it in years! I got a combo with 2 proteins: chicken teriyaki and original beef gyudon. It comes with rice and vegetables. Service was efficient - my order was ready within 2 minutes! Although it's considered fast food, you can't go wrong because it's delicious, affordable (my total was $12.97 including tax), and they give huge portions (lasted me for 2 meals).
